NHS Forth Valley urges parents to ensure their child is vaccinated against Flu this Winter
The vaccine is offered to all school aged pupils, all children aged 2-5 not yet in school and children 6months-2years with a condition that puts them at risk of developing the Flu. The vaccine is offered as a painless nasal spray and will provide protection within 10-14days.

Vibrant organ and tissue donation memorial sculpture unveiled by NHS Forth Valley.
The colourful floating sculpture by artist Hans K Clausen is entitled Everyone Everyday Evermore. This aims to recognise the life-changing contribution that local organ and tissue donors have made. It was unveiled on 23rd September 2024 in the atrium of FVH.

Forth Valley Nurses ‘Turn The Peaks Pink’ for Organ and Tissue Donation Week
May Cooper and Caroline Gallier, who work within the Scotland Organ Donation Services Team at FVRH, set themselves the challenge to climb Ben Nevis. This is part of a national event to raise awareness for Organ and Tissue Awareness Week 2024. They joined families of donor hero’s and transplant recipients who came together in a simultaneous summit of six famous peaks across the country on September 27.
